Ladies love wearing perfumes. It is one of the ways by which they can pamper themselves. Smelling good also adds up to the confidence level of a person. It makes a woman feel all the more desirable, especially if the ladies’ perfume that she wears complements her unique body scent and personality.

Unfortunately, some women make the mistake of applying either too much or too little of their perfumes. Hence, they end up not having the scent that they want. Women should then know how to wear ladies’ fragrances in a flattering way.

First of all, having a good shower is the way to go. Ladies’ fragrances should be dabbed on clean, exfoliated skin. Perfumes are not meant to mask your natural aroma; rather, they should accentuate your natural fragrance. Taking a bath will pave the release of your natural musk.

A ladies’ perfume should be sprayed lightly on desired body points, such as the pulse points of the wrists and throat. Make sure that the perfume is at least 6 inches away from you when applying it, since spraying it too close will leave blotchy stains on your clothes. Try applying the perfume at arms’ length away from the body, and then walking into the mist created by the cologne to create a subtle, even fragrance. Do not over-apply your perfume in the hopes of making it smell strongly all day.

You can also lightly spray some ladies’ perfumes on your hair since the hair holds a scent well. But once again, do not overdo this bit as the alcohol found in ladies’ fragrances can cause dryness to your scalp.

You can reapply your ladies’ perfume throughout the day, but do this scarcely because the scent may overwhelm the other people around you. You may not be able to smell your scent as your nose becomes desensitized to the odor, but other people can still smell it.

For intimate moments with your partner, ladies' fragrances can be dabbed on the shoulder or the nape of the neck. However, make sure that you only apply a small amount of perfume, since you also do not want to overpower your partner with your scent.
